I’ve been reading a lot of blogs across the web lately, mostly of them wedding related, and I’ve decided to put together a list of 10 of the best out there.
This list is by no means a “Top 10” guide, rather “10 of the top”.
Instead of linking directly to each blog’s main page I’ve decided to select an individual post from each blog and link to that. Each post that I’ve linked is of a different subject so that we have 10 different wedding-related subject matters and not 10 links to wedding dresses!
And in the interest of fairness, alphabetically I shall go:
100 Layer Cake – This post is about a shop in California that contains hundreds of beautiful wedding cake plates.
Before the Big Day – A post supporting Japan in their current crisis by promoting some cute Japanese wedding cake toppers.
Belle Amour – Some lighting ideas for wedding garden parties from this wedding ideas blog.
Bridal Musings – Some delicately crafted wedding cookies, cakes and fairy cakes.
Little Miss Wedding – Wedding buttonholes, yes, wedding buttonholes! Little Miss Wedding loves ’em.
OMG I’m Getting Married – A comprehensively well written blog and I’ve picked out a post about a wedding engagement in a town not too far from us, also in the Cotswolds, and one we serve regularly: Bath Spa. A beautiful city made to look exactly that in these delightful photos.
Peonies and Pearls – Some incredible designer wedding dresses at amazing prices.
The Pretty Blog – The DIY wedding how to in a ‘top 10 tips’ list.
Rock My Wedding – I love the Rock My Wedding blog and this post is no different. -Grannies rocking out to a wedding playlist consisting of these top 10 artists amongst others: Salt N Pepa, Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, Chemical Brothers, Kanye West, Gwen Stafani, Billy Idol, Elvis, Pulp and The Cure
Whimsical Wonderland Weddings – Well, Whimsical Wonderland Weddings aka {WWW} is one of the best wedding blogs out there. This post documents a wedding on a budget.
All of the above wedding blogs are regularly updated with super content so be sure to check them out for ideas, inspiration and just a good old read!
